There are instances where employee wants to schedule himself for a shift that has already passed shift cutoff. In the current scenario, this is not allowed, however, this is a frequent practical scenario. MoveInSync has released the adhoc request feature that allows employee and SPOC to place transport requests for shift trips even after the shift cutoff. When an adhoc request is raised, a notification is sent to the transport team. Below are more details on this feature.
Upon selecting an adhoc request, the employee/SPOC is shown a warning, which they can accept and proceed. Depending on the no-show cutoff configuration for the original shift, the employee may or may not be marked no-show.
If no-show cutoff for original shift is passed:
If no-show cutoff for original shift is not passed:
When user hovers over the ad-hoc icon, it will show a tool tip called - Ad hoc request.
Ad hoc employees in custom should also be marked distinguished as above. Similarly, routes with ad hoc (planned) employees will be shown as below:
An ad-hoc schedule change e-mail communication will be sent to transport team at each ad-hoc cutoff to inform them of the changes made and ensuring all changes are routed.
Additionally, a schedule change report which captures all cancellation and ad-hoc requests is provided to track user behavior.
