Employee App - Android, iOS and Windows Phone

Employees can now manage their commuting needs using the MoveInSync mobile application (app). The app allows employees to -

1. Raise panic alarms during trip from touch of a button
2. Track the cab in real time once a trip starts
3. View the shift schedule for coming week
4. Reschedule cab requirements if they have a change of plans
5. Cancel cab requirements if they don't need transportation for a shift

And we understand that not every organization would want to enable all these features to their employees. So we have kept the application feature set configuration completely in the hands of the employer organizations! You get to decide which features are made available for your employees by switching on/off parameters at any time. So, yes, you may change your mind and change what becomes available or unavailable to your employees!

The key features of the mobile app are -

• Only employees who have been granted permission by Transport Helpdesk (THD) can access app
• OTP validation to ensure only genuine employees can use the cab
• Organizations can configure which functionalities to make accessible to employees

Raise SOS Alarm

SOS Alarm feature is critical for the employee security while traveling on office transportation. In case of any concerns, employees can flash a SOS message discreetly to their organization’s THD. Employee can raise SOS Alarm by pressing and holding the SOS button in the app for 5 seconds. The alarm is triggered only when an employee is identified to be traveling in a cab by the ETS. If the internet network is available on the employee device (wi-fi or mobile data network), mobile app calls ETS API to raise panic alarm. If the internet network is unavailable, an SMS is sent to ETS from the employee’s mobile phone.

View/Edit/Cancel Schedule

Employee can view their Login & Logout Shift Schedule for the next 7 days (from the current date).  

Windows - View Schedule

Employee can also reschedule their shifts or cancel their cab requirements from the app.

Edit Schedule

If an employee has been configured to be able to edit schedule (from ETS and during app configuration), the employee will be able to reschedule shift times if the reschedule cut-off is not past yet. If the organization has multiple offices, employee can choose which office to go to/be picked-up from as well  from this screen.

Cancel Cab Requirements

If allowed by the organization and if the shift Cancellation cut-off is not yet past, employees can choose to cancel the trasnsportation for a scheduled shift. (Cancellation is not applicable for a Cancelled/On Leave or Unscheduled shift)

 

Track Cab

Once a trip starts (i.e. 20 minutes before the first pick-up), an employee will be able to track the cab’s location in real time on their mobile app.  This requires following to be true –

1. Drivers are using the MoveInSync Driver app
2. Organization allows employees to be able to track cab on mobile app
